SONAMIA, Sponsoring Company of the ECL’OR Project
A Real-World Immersion into the Professional World
This year, we had the pleasure of welcoming 17 ninth-grade students from Villebois Mareuil Middle School in Montaigu to our facilities. This visit is part of the ECL’OR program, an initiative that promotes career discovery and guidance for young students starting in middle school. The visit allows the students to explore the variety of professions present within a company.
During their visit, the students experienced:
• An introduction to our products and industrial expertise
• A tour of our assembly machines and logistics organization
• Discussions with our teams about careers in sales, purchasing, marketing, production, and logistics
It was a rich and engaging moment where the students asked many questions and were able to envision their future professional paths.
ECL’OR: A Collective and Local Project
The ECL’OR program (Collective Commitment for Youth Orientation) is an initiative led by Terres de Montaigu, bringing together schools, companies, and local authorities with a common goal: to support young people’s career guidance through meetings with local professionals.
Each participating class is supported by a sponsoring company throughout the school year. The goal is to create a strong link between school and business, helping students better understand the world of work.
A Meaningful Commitment for SONAMIA
As a company deeply rooted in the local community, participating in ECL’OR is an obvious choice for SONAMIA. This initiative allows us to:
• Share our passion for our professions and industry
• Strengthen our role as a local player committed to the future of youth
• Unite our teams around a meaningful project
• Contribute to the educational and economic dynamism of our region
• Support clear and practical career guidance for young people in our area
We are also pleased to announce that SONAMIA will continue as the sponsoring company for the 2025-2026 school year, reinforcing our lasting commitment to young people and local schools.
A big thank you to the students for their curiosity and enthusiasm, as well as to all the project partners for their involvement!
